One thing that I didn't do? Go on Facebook and various parent forums for hours at a time.
I'm not saying I want to do this every day, but seeing as I was stuck home and couldn't do "my chores" around the yard & garage, I decided to make some productive use of my time and help catch up on things that were waaaay overdue. On day 2, I might have attacked the laundry situation but I thought that would be unwise given my propensity for mixing towels and dress shirts.Chrisnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31704895.post-74737046062429183162009-11-15T18:05:34.119-05:002009-11-15T18:05:34.119-05:00He's lying about the television. The kids behave better for Dad when he's the novelty caregiver for a day. If he had to do it every day it would be vastly different. My husband's patience wears thin about day 2 of taking care of the kids by himself.Heatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01979925607834752536noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31704895.post-76984278396552007652009-11-14T17:13:03.638-05:002009-11-14T17:13:03.638-05:00Umm. I didn't go but I know a bunch of people did (if it's the same one I'm thinking of).

Don't you hate when that happens? of course, kids always behave better when dad's around :) It's easy to do it for one day, tell him to try doing it every day - then doing the chores get old :DWhirlwindhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16865143484526708978noreply@blogger.com
